The Phlegraen Fields

The Phlegraen Fields

The Phlegraean Fields area was already known by ancient Greeks, who had their settlement in Cumae, then by the Romans who located the headquarter of their Military Academy in Miseno. In this area many rich noblemen built their villas and palaces. One of the most famous is Palatium, called today Parco Archeologico del Terme di Baia. The Phlegraean Fields area was declared a Regional Park in 2003, and it presents as a large volcanic area situated to the west of Naples. There's an incredible and unforgettable opportunity to have a walk inside of the crater! Let's go together!
